Full or partial highlights can brighten your hair as foils are strategically placed throughout your hair while still keeping your natural color as your base shade. This can be done also by placing lowlights in bleached out hair after overexposure to sun.

Balayage
Balayage is a form of “painting” or “sweeping” the hair with color to create a natural, low maintenance look to brighten dark hair. The colors are usually kept within your natural shade of hair as more hair tends to be colored from mid to ends in this technique. This keeps maintenance low but can be a bit more for the application as it requires a skilled stylist to achieve your results. This technique can also be compared to Ombre which is a gradual shading of one color to another.

Fashion Shades
Fashion shades can be a multi-step process. We can and love creating fashion shades on hair but you must consult with a stylist prior to achieving your favorite shade (or shades) of hair. Fashion shades require prepping the hair by removing color out of the hair, then applying the preferred shade to the hair. This process is rarely quick and may take up to 5-6 hours or longer to achieve the look you are dreaming for.
